During the Covid-19 pandemic we will be limiting camps to 10 kids per week. Other safety measures, including daily temperature checks, will be in place to best protect everyone's health.
OUR CAMPS ARE FUN!
Our camps are designed for kids ages 5-13 (unless otherwise specified) who are beginner to intermediate level riders. Kids need no former experience to attend our camps and loaner gear is available at no extra cost!
We spend time each day working with instructors, skating with friends, playing dodgeball, and doing other fun camp activities! Each day a small snack is included!
Watch this page for more information on 2021 camps! We are planning on running summer camps, and plan to announce our camps by the end of March!
Starting with Summer 2020 All kids ages 5-7 will be REQUIRED to wear full pads (knee, elbow, wrist) in addition to helmets. Full pads are strongly suggested for ages 8+.
EXAMPLE SCHEDULE FOR 9am-1pm CAMP:
8:45-9:15 - Drop Off and Gear Up!
9:15 - Circle Time - Set goals for the day
9:30-10:30 - Instruction
10:30-11 - Fun camp activity (dodgeball/art/etc..)
11-11:45 - Instruction
11:45 - 12:30 - Open skate with coaches
12:30- Closing Circle
12:45 - 1:15 pm - Pick up
For those familiar with our traditional camper showcase, these will be modified this year. Because we will be asking people to drop off and pick up at the door, we will not be having family inside for the showcase. We will do this as a group with the campers and coaches and send video to any parent who requests it.
All Campers MUST be picked up in the 12:45-1:15 window. Please come to the door one family at a time to sign out your camper(s).
Please send your campers with whatever food they might need for the day, and a water bottle. Money for additional snacks is also a good idea. We have water, gatorade, cliff bars, goldfish, and other snacks for purchase at the park.
Other fun activities (books, art supplies, etc..) are welcome for use during downtimes, except screens. We will ask kids not to use screens except for filming and communication with parents. We want to keep the focus on skating!
If this will be your child’s first time at our park please be sure to fill out a waiver before the first day.
We have a child-led mindset and are very flexible. We will be encouraging kids to take water and snack breaks as needed throughout the day! We want this to be a fun environment, and sometimes in order to keep riding fun we need other things to step away and do when we get tired/hurt/frustrated which is why we will have other activities available throughout the week and encourage kids to bring their own downtime activities if they like.
Rental gear is available at no extra charge in limited quantities. We highly recommend kids bring their own skateboard/scooter/helmet/pads. But if you need access to gear please let us know when you register.
Maximum of 10 kids per week with at least 2 coaches to provide lot of hands on instruction!
If for any reason you need to cancel your child’s enrollment in camp we will give a full refund up to two weeks before the start date of camp, and a 50% refund with one weeks notice. No refunds less than one week before the start of camp.
